Today on the podcast, host Jane C. Chase shares his perspective on the tragic events as someone who was at Seattle Center when the shots rang out. Marcus digs into his writing about how gun violence in our city is treated differently depending on where it takes place. And the three reflect on what the conversations about gun violence, confusion with police chief Shon Barnes being fired or resigning, and policy say about our city as a whole. Then, Jane asks Chase about the future of our state’s only IMAX theater in light of the Seattle Film Commission calling on the Space Needle Corporation to reconsider its decision not to show commercial movies there.
