Mayor Wilson on Homelessness, World Cup Tourism, and Fake Band Names
Following Mayor Wilson’s state of the city address, Jane is joined by contributor Brett Hamil and producer Sam J Leeds to discuss the mayor’s approach to one of Seattle’s biggest issues: homelessness. Brett shares an article Katie Wilson wrote before she was Seattle’s mayor, about how homelessness has become a wedge issue that the left has lost. Then they discuss renting out your home on Airbnb during the 2026 World Cup. And finally, in honor of Capitol Hill Block Party and Zoo Tunes dropping their lineups, Sam leads Jane and Brett through a game of “Band Name: Real or Fake?”
